در طراحی منزل توجه زیادی به نیازهای افرادی که در آنها میخواهند زندگی کنند، باید داشت. علاوه بر این محیط منزل به گونه ای باشد که افراد علاوه بر رفع نیازهای خود در آن شاداب و لذت بخش زندگی کنند.
در ساختمان های حیاط دار کمبود طبیعت به وسیله ایجاد باغچه در کناره های حیاط جبران می شود .اما برای جبران آن در طراحی داخلی آپارتمان می توان از گلدان های کوچک که در گوشه های فضا قرار می گیرند استفاده کرد.سعی کنید گلدان ها را در کنار پنجره ها و یا تا جایی که امکان دارد در کنج دیو ارها قرار دهید، زیرا معمولا گوشه دیوار ها بدون استفاده می مانند.در نتیجه سعی کنید تا جایی که امکان دارد از رنگ های روشن در طراحی داخلی منزل استفاده کنید.شاید این سئوال برایتان پیش آید که به کارگیری این همه رنگ روشن فضا را یکنواخت و سرد نمی کند؟ در جواب باید گفت که این هنر شماست که با استفاده از قاب ها و وسایل تزیینی کوچک با رنگ بندی متنوع طراحی داخلی منزل تان را جذاب تر نمایید. یکی از نکاتی که در طراحی داخلی منزل باید به آن توجه کرد انتخاب مبلمان و نحوه قرارگیری آنهاست.انتخاب رنگ مبل اختیاری است اما استفاده از رنگ هایی مثل کرم روشن و یا حتی سفید به زنده تر کردن فضا کمک بیشتری می نماید و فضا بزرگ تر به نظر می آید.در مورد انتخاب طرح مبل بهتر است حتی المقدور مبل هایی با اشکال هندسی صلب و یا بدون منحنی انتخاب شود
