انرژی الکتریکی که در نیروگاه ها تولید می شود توسط تأسیسات انتقال که عبارتند از پست ها و خطوط انتقال و فوق توزیع می باشد ، به ورودی های شبکه توزیع تحویل می گردد تا از طریق شبکه توزیع به مصرف کنندگان نهایی برسد . ولتاژ خطوط انتقال نیرو در کشور در سطوح 400 ، 230 و خطوط فوق توزیع در سطوح 132 ، 66 و 63 کیلوولت می باشد . خطوط و پستهای انتقال و فوق توزیع پاسخگوی نیاز مصرف مشترکین برق ، افزایش پایداری و قابلیت اطمینان سیستم و اتصال و مبادله انرژی با کشورهای همسایه می باشد .
