New accounting information system: An application for a basic social benefit in Spain

اطلاعاتی سازمانی است، که گزارش های مالی حساب ها را جمع‌آوری و پردازش کرده و گزارش‌هایی از آن حساب ها برای استفاده ی افراد ذینفع درون سازمانی مثل مدیران که این اطلاعات را بمنظور قضاوت در مورد نتایج عملیات شرکت و تصمیم گیری درباره مدیریتشان مورد استفاده قرارمی دهند، و یا برون سازمانی مثل بانک ها، دولت از اطلاعات حسابداری برای تصمیم گیریشان استفاده می کنند یعنی قضاوت در مورد اینکه آیا شرکت قادر به بازپرداخت وام¬ها خواهد بود٬ آیا مشتری قادر به پرداخت وجه کالای فروش رفته خواهد بود و آیا مالیات¬ها بدرستی پرداخت خواهد شد و غیره. این اطلاعات باید برای استفاده کنندگان درونی و بیرونی خود ویژگی های کیفی مختلفی داشته باشد؛ ویژگی¬های اطلاعات برای استفاده کنندگان درونی شامل مربوط بودن، به موقع بودن، قابل مقایسه بودن، اهمیت و صحیح بودن می¬شود. در مورد استفاده کنندگان بیرونی اطلاعات باید مطابق با اصول و استانداردهای حسابداری بوده، تا استفاده کنندگان بتوانند با اعتماد کامل، این نوع اطلاعات و گزارش‌ها را در تصمیم گیری خود مورد استفاده قرار دهند. اطلاعات حسابداری دارای دو وظیفهی ارزش‌گذاری و نظارتی است. اطلاعات حسابداری با کیفیت بالا باعث می‌شود تا اطلاعاتی را برای سرمایه‌گذاران جهت کمک به آنها در ارزش‌گذاری صحیح دارایی‌ها و تصمیمات سرمایه‌گذاری، فراهم آورد و زیان‌های ناشی از ارزش‌گذاری یا تصمیم‌گیری نادرست در سرمایه‌گذاری را کاهش دهد. نقش اطلاعات حسابداری در کاهش تضاد نماینده- مدیر ناشی از وظیفهی نظارتی اطلاعات حسابداری است. وظیفهی نظارتی اطلاعات حسابداری، به معنای دادهی ورودی حسابداری و مالی نسبت به مکانیسم‌های حاکمیت شرکتی است تا کارایی حاکمیت شرکتی را تقویت کند و هزینهی نمایندگی را کاهش دهد.
